A hot dip from Morocco suitable for serving with any salad or appetizer. Makes 10oz.
Ingredients[]
- 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 2 cloves garlic, peeled
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup olive oil
Directions[]
- Blend the spices, garlic, and salt together until they begin to form a paste.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan and, when it is hot, add the spice mixture.
- Cook on a medium heat for about 5 minutes. Make sure to stir it because it will begin to burn.
- As soon as it is off the heat, it is ready to serve.
